Herbert and Harriet

Though they are often "over the top" ridiculous, I love the Johnsons.

They have the most marvelously sunny dispositions, and are crazy about, and totally supportive of each other.

They are so blissfully ignorant and happy. I like when Herbert starts in with his: "in my father's day..."

I quite agree, josephturner1975 - both were just a joy to watch. Too bad the execs didn't have Hazel and Harold stay to work for them, rather then invent three other characters that no one had ever heard of for the last two seasons of Hazel. The two actors, Norma Varden and Donald Foster who played Harriet and Herbert Johnson had very good chemistry together.

A little trivia: Norma Varden played the murder victim in the movie WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION.

Herbert and Harriet were a breath of fresh air in contrast to the wealthy but despicable Deirdre Thompson and her wimpy, hen-pecked husband.
They weren't funny at all.
