Episode?

As a kid I rememebr watching some hosptial show from the ealry sixties where a cheerful little girl visited a ward of men and made an impact on one who was grumpier and mean. He went to seeher and discovered she died, and he broke down and cried. Anybody know what show that was on? It was black & white that much I do remember, so it had to be priot to 1967 or so.
