Ep by ep; The Interrogators

Brilliant, brilliant concept and terrific performance from Christopher Lee, this one is just a joy from beginning to end, the barbarity of the interrogations contrasted with the chummy politeness of the officer's mess.

Chinless wonder; "I say sir, that was a rather good punch you hit me with!"

Lee; "Yes, I boxed for the battalion"

Pure Monty Python! And of course Glynn Edwards from Minder.

Christopher Lee certainly delivers here! He is deliciously sinister and really elevates this episode. It was really surreal when one of the interrogations was getting intense and horrifying, and then they all cordially break for tea! I really enjoyed Tara and Mr. Puffin lol great scene. Just two things bother me slightly about the episode. Again Steed and Tara don't share much screen time. They both seem to be working solo, but in the same episode. The other thing is that all of the agents being interrogated seem to be bumbling morons. I know this is probably to add some comedic touches, but it would have been interesting if they were a little more complex and given the episode some more depth. However, this is, as you say, an episode with a brilliant concept and guest star, and a great Avengers hour.

I cant help thinking how lucky Linda Thorson was. Fresh out of drama school, and now sharing scenes with Christopher Lee!
