France Nuyen Is on Way Up

Hollywood, Cal.---Ever since she started in the movies, France Nuyen has had her ups and downs. But definitely another big up for the French-Oriental charmer is the role of Charlton Heston's Chinese paramour in "Diamond Head."

France is the newest name to be added to the cast of Jerry Bresler's Columbia picture. Already set are Charlton, James Darren, Yvette Mimieux, and George Chakiris.

Also amoung those taking off for the scenes in Hawaii Sunday is a former star, Billie Dove, who, under her real name of Mrs. Robert Kenaston, submitted a prize winning jingle publicizing the movie. Billie consented to play the part of a nurse in the film which, was one of the prizes.

As for little Miss Nuyen, things have been going much better for her recently since her bad start when she was taken out of "The World of Suzie Wond" when she put on too much poundage worrying over M. Brando.
