Without Nicholson this would be long forgotten.

It is obvious that he is the only reason that the film is on DVD.
Of the fourteen cast members, this was the only film that nine of them appeared in, and the last film that two others appeared in (those two did some tv work)- of the three remaining Nicholson is the only one with any success.
Having said that, and the fact that the film itself is very ordinary, it is good to be able to see the early days of Mr. Nicholson's career, and it is good that these films, which are part of history are preserved.
