My number one cute guy in this movie is Ryder because he is a pretty boy! And a rich one too. I thought TV was cute with an entertaining personality.
I notice that it wasn't necessary for male actors to be muscular or particularly well-toned in order to be leading men. George Hamilton's legs were quite skinny and none of "the boys" had the kind of pecs I'm used to seeing on actors in those type of roles today. Apparently, actresses still had to have a certain ideal figure which is interesting.
I thought Merritt was the cutest girl and probably the casting people did too since she was given the lead role.
~"Chris, am I weird?" ~"Yeah, but so what? Everybody's weird."
Connie Francis was such a talented actress AND singer! I recommend you see her other movies, especially her musical "Looking for Love".
I just found it hard to believe that the guys in the movie would have found her unattractive. She kept putting herself down, but she sure was NOT ugly!
~~ Jim Hutton: talented gorgeous hot hunk; adorable as ElleryQueen; SEXIEST ACTOR EVER
I think George Hamilton is the cutest guy. I think his looks are interesting and unique. I didn't find the other guys that good-looking, but that's just me.
As for the girls, I think Yvette Mimieux is gorgeous.
All the women were unique and gorgeous....lol@ Connie Francis trying to come off as the ugly duckling...she was breathtaking. TV was the only character that I would find appealing....the other men were OK but...idk, just men, nothing special
