Can you imagine if Disney had made this?
The whole premise was perfectly suited to the mouse, circa 1970.
Dean Jones, Tim Conway, Don Knotts....
Oh yeah, Parley Baer as the Warden...and Keenan Wynn as Crout, that's just for starters!
The mind boggles!

The mind boggles indeed.. for a start there would be none of slang, or the humour, quintessential to this style of film. It would be replaced by slapstick with nonsense like 'pie thrown in face' gags... now there's something never done on film before :p

Are you kidding? Disney making this with that lot you've mentioned? I don't believe I read that. I suppose you would give Jones or Knotts the Sellers role? Unbelievable!
