Year setting?

I missed the very beginning of this film, and was wondering if any date (year) was mentioned for the setting of the story. Anyone know?

Nope, they don't give a year. It's probably meant to be happened a few years into the future from 1960.

Probably set in the years 1969 to 1972. 🌜🚀

The only evidence was when one of the crew members said it 'had been 33 years since...(something to do with WW2)', so I suppose it could be anywhere from 1939+33=1972 to 1945+33=1978.
