I just bought this piece of junk from Poundland ... and I've got a good mind to return it and get my money back. Alec Guinness in that ginger wig with that ridiculous accent made me puke!

I doubt Sir Alec was wearing a wig, and the accent was hardly ridiculous.
However, no point in referring you to the novel I can tell.
I wasn't trying to be a troll. I saw this film years ago when it was on the telly and thought it was okay, but I changed my opinion the other day after buying the dvd in Poundland. Alec Guinness chewing up the scenery in that ginger wig soon became unbearable, but I thought Mills was excellent.
