Question about the end(SPOILER ALERTS)

does it not look like Lena's eyes move?

Don't tease me about my hobbies, I don't you about being an a$$hole

reply

Yes, it does to me as well. If so, it might just be a mistake or Lena's final moment before death. What I found more peculiar is that it seems as though she drops a gun when she falls and it slides down the hill beside her. Anyone else wonder about this?

I reviewed the scene in question...Lena's moving eyes were probably just a mistake, as suggested above--even the best actors need a lot of help playing dead. Perhaps she could have simply been in the process of dying at the moment, that is taking her last breaths. I'm inclined to give Truffaut the benefit of the doubt.

As for the object rolling downhill along side Lena after she is shot, it appears to be one of her shoes, a sort of ballerina flat or something like that. In that long shot it appears as a vague black object that you may have mistook for a gun. Moreover, there's really nothing to suggest she was "wearing iron" in the scenes preceding...

Hope any of this helps.
