I've been listening to the pirates talking practically since I first watched this movie over 20 years ago, and I always wondered what they were saying. It sounds to me like they were speaking Filipino and I even caught some words that did translate from Filipino to English. So I was wondering if there were any Filipino speakers that could provide some rough translations?

I watched it tonight with subtitles and it said they were speaking Malay. I have no idea what they are saying though.

They were saying "AAAaaaaaarrrrgh! Kill these lubbers but save the women for me!"
