When I was obsessed with it as a kid, I always wanted to be Fritz.

Looking back as an adult, I was more like Francis - wilful, precocious and devoted to making friends with animals.

Alas, I grew up to be Ernst...

Well, don't feel bad, my favorite was always Ernst. Not that I wanted to become him, but he was my favorite lol.

I loved this movie as a little kid, and I wanted to be Francis. He was a kid like me and he was having a great time there on the island, with the animals, the cool treehouse, the lake, the beach, his older brothers...
