I don't know if it's available either but i'm looking as well. If you find out please let me know - i'm interested in finding a copy too!
Thank you!

P.S. - if you've not seen 'Warm Springs' with Kenneth Branagh I would suggest that - it's probably the closest you'll get to the same story until you can track down a copy & it's a marvelous film @ FDR & his fight against polio!

Hi,

Thanks for your response. Yes .. I've seen "Warm Springs" .. a wonderful film. Great cast .. superb presentation.

As for "Sunrise at Campobello" .. Have you tried E-Bay or Amazon? Another suggestion would be to check with your local library. My cousin works at the Bucks County Library in Doylestown, PA .. and they have a copy. If your local library is a member of the Intra-Lending program (most libraries do belong) .. you can request that they order it for you .. on a LOAN basis. Since I posted the original message .. I do believe I've seen "private dealers" on the Internet who do have copies for sale. I've had a busy summer and no time to pursue "Sunrise at Campobello". Anyway .. do let me know how you make out. Good luck .. take care and God bless.

Yes, it was available on VHS from Warner Bros. back in the 80s. Try to find it on Ebay.

The VHS version disappeared by the mid-90s, I think. I vaguely recall a DVD announcement two or three years ago, or perhaps an announcement of a DVD announcement, but it hasn't happened. Although it does show up on Turner Classic Movies now and then, this film seems to go largely unseen, which is a pity. It's well done, and the cast is superb.

It was a DVD Decision candidate through Warner Bros back in 2006. I don't know what the hold up is about its release cause its already been restored. They did say last year more Greer Garson would be out as Blossoms in the Dust was just announced yesterday.
