Very Ending Scene (SPOILERS)

After Maggie says goodbye to Larry and is driving down the driveway, she has to stop while a construction hand slowly walks out of her way, apparently to "enjoy the view."

He smiles at her, but when we see her, she's crying.

I wonder if others took it that she's as much crying for the lost love with Larry, as that this time she won't smile back at the admirer. I.e. not make the same mistake as she did with the truck driver (strangely named "Bucky" in the IMDB cast list).

It made me feel even sadder for her. What's she to do now?

On the other hand, the closing song over the end credits seemed to suggest at some future point they "won't be strangers when we meet."
