What thrilling news!! At long last Fox has announced that this
gem shall be released on March 14th., 2006. Maybe now we can hope
that they continue this trend and release other eternal classics
like "The Egyptian", "A Certain Smile", "Can-Can", "Boy On A Dolphin",
"23 Paces To Baker Street", "Fate Is The Hunter", "In Love And War (1958)",
and "Tender Is The Night" to mention just a few. I invite all classic
lovers to quickly order their copy immediately.
Good news, indeed! The FOX Movie Channel has also scheduled a letterboxed broadcast of "The Story of Ruth" on Saturday, April 15, at 5:30 A.M. (Eastern Standard Time - subject to change, as they always warn on their website). Let's hope a nice restoration to DVD of "The Egyptian" will soon be forthcoming, as well as those other titles you've mentioned, "y.ben-david".
