I watched Sons and Lovers when studying the novel at school (I think our teacher had taken a sickie...) and I can remember an entire class of 14-year-old girls infatuated with his good looks. Good times, good times.

He was SO gorgeous in this film. Have just finished watching it for the umptenth time and I never get bored with this film. Its so good and shows exactly how great an actor Dean Stockwell is! I just wish I could share this film with others but not many people I know are fans of these sort of films. Shame!

Yes it shouldn't be just on PAL disc but for the NTSC audience too!

I love it, plus it helps that the b/w print on the DVD is just as gorgeous as a young Dean Stockwell!

It could be that I'm biased because I've had a crush on Dean since I was very little back in the early 90s, but I think he is still absolutely beautiful despite his advanced age. Perhaps it's because I see the beauty of his soul moreso than just his good looks.
He's a beautiful human being and it shines through him.
I love him to bits. :)

I just saw this movie today for the first time. Even though I know Dean Stockwell best as Al from Quantum Leap, I was absolutely in love with him in this movie. He was mmmm-mmmm good!
