A great movie!

Warning this could be a spoiler for those who have never seen this movie.
I hadn't seen it in manny years until recently and I hope some more of Audie Murphy's rare movies are shown. It is great as a young Audie Murphy Texas Ranger brings back Barry Sullivan to justice in Texas and they both become great friends even though Sullivan is an outlaw. The movie is great and of course there is a final confrontation even though Sullivan's character in real life would have been smart enough to have avoided it after his final escape but that's movies back then - things must be made right. Other than those last five minutes that had to be done to bring Sullivan to justice this is a great movie and I recommend it if you haven't seen it.

I agree. Saw it growing up in the 60's and 70's, enyoyed seeing it again just now.

Just something, about Audies personality I always enjoyed. Always very likeable. And as you mentioned, him with Sullivan were a great twosome to watch.

Yes I agree too. I'm an Audie fan as well and love his westerns. Sullivan's a good actor and was great as the likeable rogue in this. He played a similar type of role in Dragoon Wells Massacre. There's also good support from western reliable John McIntire and the sinister looking Kenneth Tobey.Tobey was even more sinister six years later in Forty Guns to Apache Pass, Audies penultimate western.
