Does he have a big role in this?

Sort of, this is an ensemble movie like Ocean's Eleven. I'd say Eli had the third most screen time behind the two big stars, Steiger and Robinson. If your a Wallach fan, I recommend this movie.

Interesting that he had part in "Seven Thieves" and "The Magnificent Seven" in the same year.
