What's up with the credits?

I think it's a great movie until the last 5 minutes. ("Well, we're at 100 minutes; how can we wrap this up?") Anyway when it was over, I wanted to check out who played the troopers, and there were no credits for those guys. The characters' names weren't even listed. Sutler Chandler Hubble and crime victim Lucy Dabney were listed but even they were uncredited. I found the same thing on the Wikipedia entry on the movie. What gives? Anybody know?

Many films pre-1970 didn't have "end credits". I don't know how many classic films you've seen but many of them did not have "end credits". Usually they had most of the credits in the beginning, and usually only those that were huge parts of the film such as the main stars and supporting cast, and the main crew. Those that did have "end credits" usually had the same thing. Rarely, like one would get today, would they have every single person that participated in making the film, including actors and actresses.

Though, that's why websites like this exist.

Hope that helps.

Even imdb fails to give credit for Cpl Moffett, who had a size able role. Did a fine job, too.
