Woof....

This was one rank fish. More mellowdramtic & overacting then a Mexican Soap Opera. Only with Mexican soaps, it's more easy to follow the storyline... (And I don't speak or even understand Spanish!)
So, this was a French film? Stinky cheese.

Trust me,

I agree.....gave it a four. Is that too high? What bugged me was that blonde going to the doctor then refusing his help! Why go to him??????

I watched about half of it, then skipped to the end....so I didn't understand how he changed into a monster, nor did I care!

Weak story, uninteresting characters, but I'll say I liked this a little better
than The Black Sleep, also shown on hulu!!!!!

I sorta liked this one. These italian gothic "classics" have a nice atmosphere to them. Sure their definitely not masterpieces (the acting was brutally annoying) but this one had an old school charm to it, and I sorta related to the infatuation the protagonist had towards Jeanette. Plus I thought she was pretty good looking, that along with the nightgowns she wore also made it watchable. :-) I give it a 6 (or 2 stars)

Have fun watching these low budget near-miracles!

well, i sort of agree with the last two posts here, this had the same vibe as "horrors of spider island", which also seemed dubbed like this, this is better on dubbing though, at the start of this were a ton of italian sounding names, makes sense one of the actresses look like sophia loren, spoiler, what a mistake to kill her off after thirty minutes, she was the most powerful person on the screen, i kind of lost interest in the movie after that, i figure the other movie i just saw (horrors of spider island) was also italian made with the same people involved as quite a few look recognisable, i got this in a dvd box of 50 horror classics and a real bugger with this is the black box at the upper part of the screen.
