It's amazing

For a moment I thought I was watching an old movie from the 30's but when I looked at the year it said 1960. The look is very impressive. Still, there's something about it that comes off as inauthentic. I never could put my finger on exactly what it was. Maybe it was the actors themselves. They did a good job but I think people in the 20's and 30's held themselves up more rigidly; not much slouching then.

Woman, man! That's the way it should be Tarzan. [Tarzan and his mate].

It was kind of the same thing with me. I recognized one of the actors from 1960s TV shows, so I thought it might be the '50s or '60s even though it seemed very '30s or '40s. Plus, I couldn't help thinking that the role of Jack "Legs" Diamond would've gone to someone like Bogart, or Gable or someone else from the '30s or '40s who was a bigger name than (looks up name of actor) ...Ray Danton.

I thought the film was clever enough and liked how some humor was thrown into it.

Mag, Darling, you're being a bore.
