OT: Burritos

What's your favorite kind of burrito?

Hey, seeing as how there are so many OT posts here, why not?

What? You've never had a Bates Burrito? They're so well known in the area that the "big diner just outside of Fairvale" serves 'em. When you request meat filling, it's never beef or pork; always some sort of fowl. And it's always served sliced by a carving knife. I'd advise passing on the "red sauce," however.

And if you notice the way Norman gathers up Marion in the shower curtain, he's employing the famous "Bates Burrito Wrap:" open at both ends. Oh, by the way, if you order them to go, they come inside a newspaper.

So what's all this about "OT?"

Interesting concept.

Well noted, doghouse!

And: In Robert Bloch's novel of Psycho , he notes that the "Bates Burrito Wrap" was also employed upon Arbogast's corpse, which was rolled up in the foyer rug - open at both ends.

As Bates notes in the novel about this: "These rugs were absorbent."

The California-style burritos from the San Diego area are really good.
