Shower Scene Documentary 78/52 Clips on Youtube

I'm not sure when it will be released -- and if to theaters or Pay Per View/Streaming -- but 78/52 -- the documentary solely about the shower scene --is a pretty exciting prospect for we Psycho fans.

And I found a few clips from it/about it on Youtube:

ONE: The best. A long sequence about how all those melons "auditioned" to be stabbed by a knife to get the best stabbing sounds. Casaba was the winner, but here we get great detail about WHY Casaba is the best(more fruit meat to stab through, a "dry bone stab" sound.) And Making of Psycho author Stephen Rebello gives us new information: a STEAK was stabbed, too, and that sound was intercut with the melon stabs(just like we had various voices for Mother, I guess.)

TWO: A clip of Elijah Wood discussing the scene with two guys. One of the two guys notes "My 7 year old daughter knows the Psycho screeching violins, but she's never seen the movie. Was she BORN knowing them?"

THREE: An interview at Sundance with the director. He has some good anecdotes. I like the one where he says that many film editors saw the shower scene and each one picked a DIFFERENT "best cut in the scene."

And Psycho didn't even get a Best Film Editing Oscar....
