What year was the movie set in?

I was just wondering if the movie was set in the 60's or if it was set in the 20's like the original movie. It would be great if you could tell me. Thank-you!
Molly.

I'm not positive of the precise year, but I think it was meant to be 1913, the same year the novel was written. Either way, it was certainly not the 60's.

according to the info button on my tv it says that the movie is set in 1912

Yeah 1912 seems about right as the dress sense and cars look the same as in the movie Titanic and as we all know that is definetly 1912

It was indeed 1912...I have a DVD copy of Pollyanna with two discs, which includs bonus features on one. One of the features takes you back to Pollyanna's 1912 or something like that.

Sounds like the OP is referencing a remake since she refers to "like the original movie."

Nah, the original movie was released in 1920, which was based on the 1913 novel: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0011588/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_9

The license plate on one of the cars is dated 1912.

Sometime in the 1910's.

But it was filmed in the 1960s.
