AM I THE ONLY ONE?
Am I the only person who starts crying like a baby when they are taking Pollyanna to the hospital and everyone is there to say goodbye?

Well, I'm not "crying like a baby"
(maybe I've seen this movie a million times more than I should ;) ),
but I do still get pretty teary eyed...pretty much throughout! ;D
I think the sermon gets me, the "America, the Beautiful" song,
the Glad game (every time it's mentioned), and don't forget--
"When you look for the worst in people, you will surely find it" quote by
Abraham Lincoln..."he was the President..."
Get out the tissues...
Be well...
Shal...
that quote was not said by abraham lincoln as said in the film
it was made up for the film
check out the trivia section on the imdb page
it is a good quote though
in the film it says if you look for the bad in mankind expecting to find it you surely will Abraham Lincoln said if you look for the bad in people you surely will find it.

Oh yeah, from the moment they discover her on the ground after the fall the tears are in my eyes until the end of the movie.
The other scenes that tug at my heartstrings are when she tells Mrs. Snow she doesn't want to visit her anymore, and when Mrs. Snow makes sure she gets the doll in the fishing game.
Sasou, you're not alone.I cried at that scene when I saw it as a kid at the movies and it still brings tears to my eyes today.
sharewell i was feeling really upset and emotional but not actually 'crying like a baby'
shareNo ... you're not alone ... I also whimper like a school girl when Hayley tells Agnes Moorehead she's not coming back anymore (the coffin fitting scene).
Yep ... very good stuff.
i agree with all the scenes that everyone mentioned here! i, at the very least, get choked up and also watery eyes at them. : (
but, there is one scene that REALLY gets me that no one has mentioned yet: it's actually when a group of people and pollyanna are on the hayride back to their homes after the bazaar has ended. the night is so serene and all is beautiful, and pollyanna & the others are singing the gorgeous song "i'll take you home again kathleen". pollyanna is dropped off at her house; the other people say and wave good-bye to her, and she waves and says good-bye to them. they were all so happy, and pollyanna was SO very happy -- she had just had the happiest time of her life -- and it's just like you know the inevitable is coming really soon...that she's going to fall and then she becomes jaded! =[[[[

I cry every time. I've seen this movie many, many times and the scene always has an effect on me.
shareAll of these Disney films get to me- maybe because I was a kid when they were first on TV.
