Sets precedence with it's mise en scène!
I am in awe over how everything fits so perfectly and with such style, but still manages to look relaxed and natural. Actors, locations, costumes, plot, filming, directing and cinematography is in harmony and has that certain je ne sais quoi! It's a study in comme il faut and faux pas which obviously continues to fascinate, humour and differ man.
Today few appriciates longevity, quality and beauty of movies, but I applaud directors like Martin Scorsese (who also contributed to the restauration of Plein Soleil), Woody Allen and Roman Polanski.
