The fabric man

I'm not referring to the salesman...but has anyone else ever taken a good look at the guy who she steals the white fabric from (throws his arms up in the air after the salesman snaps at him)?

I just realized how much he looks like (Prez/Jack Straw?) from The Pajama Game. There isn't anything on his IMDB resume about it...but there isn't a picture either, and I'm not sure I'm looking up the right guy. The guy I'm talking about in The Pajama Game is the guy who sings "7 1/2 Cents" with Doris Day.

I don't want to credit him if it's not him, and I can't think of any way to be certain. Jack's name isn't anywhere on the Please Don't Eat The Daisies actor list, and I can't decide if one of the character names/descriptions is the small bit I'm referring too.

If you have both movies...check it out and let me know if you agree.

I immediately thought Phil Silvers - especially with the face he pulled as he stalked off without the bolt of fabric. And he's not credited either. But he had worked with Doris Day, they were together in Lucky Me.

I can't believe that nobody on this thread recognized that actor as Frank Cady, who played Mr. Daigle in The Bad Seed and countless other movie roles, until television brought him a modicum of fame as Sam Drucker on Petticoat Junction and Green Acres. He died in 2012 at age 96.
