anyone been a production of this? - Peter Pan (1960) Discussion

Hey

I haven't been in a show of Peter Pan but my old theatre company has done it 3 times, I'm obsessed with it and even right now I'm watching a DVD of one of the shows.

I also have flown in a production before of the Wizard of Oz and I agree it is amazingly fun!! That was one of my favourite shows I've done!!

yeah i live in the uk i am male love this version not on dvd in this country
i played peter
i am male lol we used some of the songs but mainly ones from disney version.

I'm in it right now, and I'm John. I love the play so far. It's a very different style of acting than anything I've done. Everything is very grand and wonderfully imaginative. The music's great, and I can't wait to fly!

I was in a production of this back in 1997...I got to be Wendy Darling, and it was THE most FUN I've ever had doing a show!

Yeah, I was in this show when I was in middle school and I played John. Getting to "fly" is definitely one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life! It's my all time favorite show!

My high school just finished their production of it. I operated the tinkerbell spotlight but I'm not sure if it counts as being in it.

It was the theme of one of my dance recitals. I think it was 1995. Mostly it was obviously dancing, but there were some speaking parts with girls playing every role. I didn't get chosen for any of them though. My older sister was Tiger Lily. However, they used a recording from this production for her voice. And my dance was ballet, so I was a water lily in the Mermaid Lagoon. It was almost a solo since that was the year we started out with 7 of us, and then by the recital, only 2 of us remained.

yeah when i was 11 in 98 i was just a lost boy, but it is to this day the best show i was in, it was with a professional company and we had the sandy duncan broadway sets!

Wow our high school is doing it right now =D, i play a random pirate named noodler and the crocodile.

So If I hit the bullseye the the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards, checkmate.

OMG this was SOO FUN!!! We just finished it a couple weeks ago and i still cant get the music out of my head! lol I didnt get any parts like that lol i was a pirate it was a youth play so we had like 160people the ending was funny when they all get adopted cuz their like"its just a few more of us!" we had 75 lost boys! lol talk about a few more! lol

I was in a production when I was a kid --I played Michael Darling and flying was lost of fun. Then I played Hook when I was in college. Lots of fun again!

i played a lost boy in an independant theater company when i was in 5th grade. i dont remember which boy i was though

I was in it twice.

The first time I did it I was Hook and Slightly

The second time I did it which was last June, I was Noodler.

I love you, Kristen Stewart. :) You are so beautiful and talented. I would love to perform with you.
