nope, it is the full-length version... I just TiVo'd it, thinking it looked interesting... lol - and come to find this is a real rare bird... never aired on TCM or any movie channel before, yet without much fanfare... lol.

Just watched it and I now know why there wasn't any fanfare. Does anyone know why all those stars of the day would submit to cameos in this film?

The 02/19 TCM showing of Pepe was the 157 minute version, and not the 195 minute version or the full 3 hour version that you are indicating.
The following information was provided by TCM programming:
We requested the longer version, and Sony originally told us they had it (in fact they said that was the only version they had). However, last week they told us that the longer version was in bad condition and hadn't yet been trasnferred to video. So we ended up with the shorter one.

TCM aired a last minute short, The Battle Of Gettysburg, after the film, due to receiving the shorter version of Pepe.

If you still don't have it it will air on Turner Classic Movies on March 31, 2008 at 10 A.M. EST . So set your VCR, DVD-recorder or DVR to record it.
