Molestation and other theories...

Just a few theories to run by you all about some of the unanswered questions that many of us were left wondering at the end. I got the impression that (1) His father "tortured" (i.e. experimented on)others in the house. WHether children, or whatever.(2) Mark was (sexually)molested in some way as a child, I think by his stepmom (where is she anyway?). I don't think there is any direct evidence to prove the latter, but certain things seem to give it away. SUch as Mark's father's persistent exposure of things sexual to Mark, and his reaction to it. (the lovers making out, the blatent sexual showing off of his new wife in the film). If Mark's stepmom did molest him, it would clearly show why he wants to express his natural desire to women (the porno pictures he shoots), but at the same time he feels revolted, because he had sexuality forced upon him too soon, and in a violent way perhaps. Therefore he secretly wants to harm the women he feels are beautiful (perhaps like his stepmom who was obviously a beauty) and make those women feel the fear he suffered as a child. He feels gratified (sexually) when he can watch these "feelings" played out in the safe, dark room he has created in his father's home. Just some theories...
