The most recent showing in July was cut.

The scene that was cut shows the boy peeping at two lovers necking on a park bench. And his father was filming it.

REASON for cutting: This scene establishes that Mark was a peeping tom Before his father tormented him. TCM wants you to believe Mark's father caused him to be a peeping tom. But the film shows the opposite.

I watched the same showing you are talking about and I am willing to bet my balls that the scene you're talking about was in that showing. I remember it clearly since I just watched it yesterday. Yes, I have DVR.

I ran both versions side by side on 2 tvs and 2 players. The scene takes place before the lizard showing mark was already a peeping tom before his father worked on him.
