Repulsion titles sequence

The titles sequence of 'Repulsion' in which Catherine Deneuve's eye is shown in extreme close up is quite reminiscent of the opening shot of 'Peeping Tom' which also shows an eye in extreme close up, and the close up of the eye in Saul Bass's titles sequence for 'Vertigo', too.
