In my misspent younger days, I smoked cigars. My favorite was Partagas even though they were no longer imported from Havana. Ernie Kovacs was noted for smoking cigars, and I was amused to see last night for the first time he has a box of cigars on the shelf behind his tape recorder. The box is labeled Partagas. Also, Mr. Wormold's frequent victim is named Cifuentes, the name of another Cuban cigar brand.
