I am forever equating Burl Ives narration of Rudolph the Red Nosed Raindeer with anything that comes out of his mouth-
I cant watch him in anything without those songs and the Bumble running through my mind.
My five year old mind was tatooed with those programs

Burl was good at playing unsympathetic characters in a supporting roll and he was also great as a villain. He was a great villain in the 1958 William Wyler film, The Big Country, as the character Rufus Hannassey.
