What did you think of it?

I might have to watch it again now with some hindsight and after discussing it with other people.

I'm not too good at analyzing films so this might come across a bit odd. I understand a main theme of the film is alienation. I didn't feel any real connection with any of the characters and it almost felt like the audience was part of the alienation.

I was wondering if the younger woman was somehow meant to represent the wife at a younger age. I must admit I had a couple of beers before I watched the film but I got confused a couple of times and didn't realize for a few second which woman was on the screen. The fact that both of them had similar black dresses and hair didn't help.
