Did you catch the part where they accidentally catch Fabian on film selling his soul to The Devil? It's right before the big fight scene as they pan the camera past the general store and a covered wagon full of Gargoyles.
shareI missed that part, but after listening to his tone-deaf warbling in the film, I figured there must've been some diabolical reason for him having a "singing" career.
