She stole the scenes she had with Marlon Brando in THE YOUNG LIONS, and at the screening at FOX the audience went wild when she first appeared on screen and she got very good notices.
Basically, she loathed being an actress, and just wanted to raise a family.
Actually, she's pretty good in this film---the OP clearly dosen't know what real acting talent is. What happened was that when Britt decided to marry Sammy Davis Jr., her career came to a screeching halt,basically.because she chose to marry a black man black in an era where interracial marriage was still illegal in about half the country. I'll have to read up some more on that. I do recall reading in Davis's bio that sometimes they had to actually hide out sometimes from death threats due to their marriage and everything else. I liked the movie, and I also liked how her character wasn't made out to be some bimbo just because she was blond---plus she plays a major role in helping to catch some of the criminals. She had some potential though--a shame that her career got cut so quick in the early stages.
