DVD: Shemaroo VS Eros

There are two Special Editions of the color-version out on the market (to my knowledge). Both 2-disc with the same extra material. So which one to choose?

My conclusion is this:

Shemaroo:
+ Direct film to NTSC transfer: that is no ghosting artefacts.
- some problems affecting some discs that do not play, non-progressive.

EROS:
+ Better picture quality (sharper - more detail)
- Film to PAL to NTSC - that is ghosting artefacts, non-progressive. A hell of a lot of long intros regarding other EROS products

My conclusion: Well - I went for EROS - mainly for getting a disc I know will play. I would say - choose the cheapest one!

Any other thoughts?

Both are rather poor quality. Sigh...

I would shy away from buying any Eros dvd as they hit you over the head with endless trailers and commercials that you can't skip through. Got an Eros version of this movie through Netflix and sat through like twenty minutes of previews, argh.
