How is this movie virtually unknown outside latin america baffles me. It might not be a masterpiece overall but it sure comes close in terms of narrative and stoytelling. Surely it has what it takes to be more appreciated outside the "connoisseur" circles.
shareAgreed, while by no means the greatest film ever made, it has the incredible structure and dynamics that I think can put it among the products from the big players (the US, Europe, and Japan). Shame it probably won't get the recognition it deserves outside of a few film nut circles, because as said before, it's a Mexican film, and Mexico is unfortunately not a big player in the film industry
