Irwin Allen's centenary: June 12, 2016

Hard to believe, but Irwin Allen would have turned 100 today. So many of us grew up on his sci-fi and fantasy fare, and while a lot of it was silly, illogical, ridiculous and sometimes just plain stupid, he could still be entertaining and occasionally even imaginative.

So happy 100th, Irwin, in whichever lost world, lost space, sea bottom, time tunnel, big circus, towering inferno or overturned luxury liner you may be on.
