Fans of the film should go to the Turner Classic Movies website where you can vote for it to be released on Home Video as well as request that TCM schedule the movie.

shareI hadn't heard of this movie. Found myself awake at 4 am, zapped TCM, and saw there was a movie with Shelley Winters, Burl Ives, and Bobby Darrin on (Jean Seberg, who plays the girlfriend, and Ricardo Montalban didn't even make the cut on my cable description). I was riveted. Can't believe how good it was, or that I'd never seen it or heard about it. How can this terric movie have been so overlooked?
shareThe young man was played by James Darren, not Bobby Darin. Bobby died back in the 70s, James is still very much alive.
shareJust saw it on the DVR, it wasn't letterboxed and to tell the truth it didn't look like it had been shot wide screen. IMDB lists it as 1:85-1 which is wide screen. What's the truth?
