I love this film and hopefully more people will come on and post. Make for wonderful discussion. Most people I know hated Gable's age. I found him right for the part.
The difference didn't bother me probably because I think of Loren as timeless. Maybe that's because she aged so well. To me it just didn't seem like there was as much a difference in age.
