Does Franz Josef, the emperor of Austria emerge in this version of "Im weißen Rößl" - My father has a bet running about that topic (don't ask me how they got to this topic).

Hi,
no he does not, since this version takes place in the 1960s. Emperor Franz Joseph only appears as a boat of the same name which brings the tourists to the inn at the beginning of the film.
