Blu-ray from Twilight Time available 8/14/12

High Time will be released on Blu-ray by Twilight Time on August 14, 2012.

The disc is available exclusively through Screen Archives Entertainment (SAE: screenarchives.com) and costs $29.95. This is a Region 0 (Region-free) disc and is in a limited edition of 3000. No extras, save for the isolated music score, and a booklet containing an essay on the film. The movie is in its proper CinemaScope aspect ratio of 2.35:1.

When Twilight Time began in March, 2011, it issued unreleased titles from 20th Century Fox, mostly on standard DVD. But beginning that fall it added films from Columbia (Sony) and shifted exclusively to Blu-ray. It issues one film from each studio per month. The Columbia films have all previously been released on DVD, but most -- though not all -- of the Fox titles have never had a standard DVD release. Unfortunately, TT no longer gives the customer a choice of formats, so you have to pay a higher price if you want this film.
