I've always liked Bing, but I don't hunt down all of his movies....I actually watched this b/c I've recently discovered Tuesday Weld who was fantastic in Lord Love a Duck & Walk the Line. Unfortunately, she wasn't in this much & didn't have much to do in the scenes she was in - if I didn't know it was her, I wouldn't have even recognized her.

The only other film I've seen Fabian in, is Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation - I love the little song he sings in there w/ the daughter - something about creampuff, shortcake...I've got a tiger by the tail! kenolting - since you're an obvious Fabian fan, would you know if that song is on any of his albums, or what it's called?

I watched because it's 5:00 A.M. and there is not much on. Also in the first part of the film Tuesday Weld is dancing in some tight red pants, saying cha, cha. cha., good clean fun ? Then the lovely Yvonne Craig ( Batgirl ) walks in the room looking like a very young librarian. She is still very lovely 50 years later!
I dont' know if I will make it through the rest of the movie.

Cant recall the exact reason why I watched this for the very first time, which was on cable tv in the late 1990s. I really wasnt in the mood for some early 1960s fluff cinema, but I put it on nonetheless. As the days passed, this movie would be repeated over and over again and I would watch it again and again. It was during those multiple viewings when this movie really grew on me. Now I love it.

I first saw High Time when I was a child because I always loved Bing. Then it disappeared from TV for decades. When I finally saw it again it was in letterbox format and it made a tremendous amount of difference in the movie! I finally could see the movie as it was intended to be seen.

Is it hokey? Sure. But I still love it!

My family went to see this at the drive-in. I would have been about 9; my sister, about 1 1/2 years younger. I'm sure we liked Fabian and Bing equally, so it undoubtedly was an enjoyable .

Drive-in memories are so wonderful.

Bing Crosby fan here, and this movie bring back the feel of the "Good old days". :-)

It's just a gentle, amusing slice of life story. Year ago I dubbed it, and make it a point to play it around the beginning of school each year.
