Watched this movie tonight on TCM and really enjoyed it. Just one question: What's the reason for the title? There's no one named Heller in the film. I know the intro at the beginning mentions Angela as being a "hellion", but that doesn't translate to "Heller". Anybody know?

shareThis movie is a travesty, the title comes from the Louis Lamour book its supposedly based on, Heller With A Gun. Meaning the main character is one bad mother with a pistol. The title has nothing to do with actresses or the stage. Read the book by Lamour, its about a Gunfighter who befriends and protects a group of traveling stage actors.
