Just saw this last night for the first time. What a pleasure!

I thought that everything was very well done. Stanley Baker in the leading role was very good.

This was very fast paced and had many familiar elements that will be at once apparent to fans of the crime drama and film noir canon, but it moved like similar films made twenty years later in the U.S.

Highly recommend this!

Marvellous cast, snot-gobbling, arse-kicking dialogue and a parade of women no better than the ought to be and Donald Pleasence's voluminour handkerchief. Niiiiice.

It's about time that Stanley Baker got a bit more notice.
