Just watched on This channel, at first I thought I had a bad connection. Apparently the term "Jap" is politically incorrect but it is used a lot in this movie. They just blanked it out so it sounds like everyone has a stutter or they don't know who they are fighting. Between this and the damb choral music I found it very distracting.
shareIt's a choice the channel makes. You always know you can have the kids watch whatever is on "This" channel and they won't be picking up bad language. The tradeoff is that your soundtrack is all hacked up, you're not quite sure what's going on, and it sounds like your reception is messed up.
I happened to notice today on "Movies" channel they played Wing and a Prayer and none of the "Japs" were cut off.
So you do have a choice.

bleeping out the word Japs in a WW2 movie??? Do they beep out Brits and Pols as well as it is pretty much the same thing??? This nation has become so gay ... but not in a homosexual way ... a lame way.
