Delighful performance by Laurence Harvey

He was excellent at comedy and even a very good dancer (who knew?). What a shame the DVD versions cut his songs, I would have loved to see that.

At first, his strange "foreign" accent in this role confused me, then I understood it to be some kind of comment on how many ethnic Jewish people were in certain areas of UK show business - particularly agents & managers? Let me know if I got that wrong, I'm not British so that is only my perhaps mistaken impression.

Agreed, he was formidable. His comedy talents were underrated anyway. In "Three Men on a Boat" he was arguably funnier than his co-stars Edwards and Tomlinson, who were comic actors.

Harvey was Jewish. Born in Lithuania. Maybe he reverted to his parents' accent?

Complete version may be coming in the blue ray coming out in April In England. Says, "most complete version". We'll see.
