A German company has just released a German PAL DVD of BLOOD AND ROSES that is presented in the proper 2:35-1 aspect ratio. This print is better looking than previous home video versions, and has all but 6 seconds of the surrealistic nightmare sequence. The audio is French or German, but there are English subtitles. Amazon.Germany is not selling the disc.

shareI just purchased it. The back of the DVD says 85 minutes but the runtime on my computer says 79 minutes... It includes the scenes cut from the English version though, so I think it is as close to a full release as available.
